### **Arcanis Ragnarok Online — Server Rules**

To maintain a fair, enjoyable, and welcoming environment for all **Arcanians**, the following rules must be observed at all times while playing on Arcanis RO.

### **General Conduct**

**Respect the Community**\
Treat fellow Arcanians, staff members, and the community with respect and courtesy. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

**Maintain a Positive Atmosphere**\
Help foster a friendly and inclusive environment. Excessive profanity, offensive language, or intentionally disruptive behavior is not allowed.

**Fair Play Only**\
Cheating, botting, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that provides an unfair advantage over others is strictly prohibited.

**Account Security**\
You are responsible for keeping your account information secure. Never share your password with anyone. Report any suspicious activity to the Staff Team immediately.

**Respect the Staff Team**\
The Arcanis Staff Team works diligently to provide the best gameplay experience possible. Disrespect toward staff decisions, actions, or authority will not be tolerated.

**Staff Discretion**\
No rule list is perfect. Any attempts to exploit loopholes will be penalized. The Staff Team reserves the right to moderate any behavior deemed harmful or inappropriate, even if it is not explicitly listed here. Use common sense and understand that moderation is done to protect the majority of the community.

### **In-Game Behavior**

**No Spamming**\
Excessive messaging, chat flooding, or disruptive text effects are not allowed.

**No Trolling or Griefing**\
Intentionally provoking players, disrupting gameplay, or causing harm to others or the server is prohibited.

**No Advertising**\
Advertising or promoting other servers, websites, or services without explicit staff permission is not allowed.

**No Staff Impersonation**\
Pretending to be a staff member or falsely claiming authority will result in severe penalties.

### **Gameplay Rules**

**No Bug Abuse**\
Exploiting bugs or glitches for personal gain is forbidden. Any bugs encountered must be reported to the Staff Team.

**Real Money Trading (RMT)**\
Arcanis Ragnarok Online supports RMT (Real Money Trading), but you must trade at your own risk. We are not liable for any losses, including scamming, item loss, or any disputes that may arise from RMT transactions.

If you choose to engage in RMT, we strongly recommend using our Official Server Midman to ensure a safer and smoother transaction.

**No AFK Farming or Automation**\
AFK farming of any kind—including bots, macros, or auto-clickers—is not allowed. Arcanis RO utilizes bot checks across multiple maps, along with manual inspections. Failure to respond to bot checks will result in sanctions.

**Third-Party Programs**\
The discussion, promotion, or use of third-party programs that interfere with normal gameplay is strictly prohibited.

**Scamming & Hacking**\
Scamming or hacking other players will not be tolerated. While the Staff Team may punish offenders, players are responsible for their own accounts and items. Recovery of lost items is not guaranteed.

### **Penalties for Violations**

* **Item Deletion & Permanent Ban** for serious violations
* **Warnings** for minor violations
* **Temporary Bans** for serious or repeated offenses
* **Permanent Bans** for severe violations or continued rule-breaking

Penalty severity is determined at the discretion of the Staff Team.

### **Additional Notes**

* Staff members reserve the right to interpret and enforce these rules as necessary
* Rules may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice
* It is your responsibility to stay informed of the current rules
* Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for violations
